This is the 2nd year that we have booked the house for an offsite retreat for my husband’s work. Perfect for hosting, plenty of space for everyone!

The Dahlia was amazing!,we had a retreat for 40 women and they were all thrilled with the accommodations and amenities. Jorge was extremely kind and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend this rental!

we had an amazing stay at the Dahlia house and I highly recommend it! The attention to detail is incredible. The house very comfortably fit our whole group of 28 women we loved the hot tubs and in October to swim in the heated pool it was a real treat. The kitchens were well equipped. It was amazing to be able to have everybody eat together and have enough dishes and silverware for everyone. It was great having all of the lovely bathrooms and all of the beds were super comfortable.!!! I would love to rent this house again.

I cannot say enough great things about the house as well as the host! Communication was easy and helpful, and even last minute early check-in/late check-out requests were accommodated. The house had everything- truly no detail was overlooked. It was perfect for our group of several families, everyone had their own space. The amenities were fantastic- we just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy them more! Truly could not recommend this house more. Would give it 10 stars if I could.

I think I already said this, but we love the facility. It’s extremely well appointed and taken care of and comfortable. Plenty of space for leisure activities. The one suggestion is have someone check out the lights by the bed in the bedroom, that’s above the kitchen because they have never worked, I tried them last year also and even even my friends could not figure out what was wrong

We held a company meeting at Dahlia instead of our typical hotel/conference room accommodations. What a huge upgrade! The house is incredible and the host was super responsive and friendly. We will definitely book with Dwell in the future.

Everything was clean and well maintained. The cousins always enjoy the pool and we set up a pickle ball net on the basketball court. It was a little smaller than usual but it was perfect! Dwell Vacations' properties and staff are the best. From the supplies and equipment provided to the immediate response when there's any issue, this is a stellar organization. We're returning to Primrose next summer because of the pool being on the same level as the kitchen. However, Dahlia was really great for space and we had a wonderful time!

We have been staying with Dwell properties for nearly 8 years (2-3 times per year). We have stayed at Primrose, Dahlia, and Sundrop - and they're all fantastic! Penny and the team at Dwell are responsive, kind, and keep their houses in tip top shape.

We have stayed at other Dwell Vacation rental properties but this was our first time at Dahlia and we loved it! The house was perfectly set up for our group. We try to gather our friend group once a year all together and have found that the Dwell Houses are perfect to get our growing group together. With the Dahlia house we were able to comfortably set up those with kids and without kids to have their own space. The basement area was where all the adults would hang out at night and the kids slept upstairs without hearing a peep from us. The double hot tubs with access right from the lower level made it so nice. And of course the kitchen is always stocked so well for us to set up a big group dinner and not need to bring anything extra. It was such a perfect winter getaway that we checked into the house and didn't leave the entire weekend. It's a wonderful team running the properties and communication is always so smooth. We will definitely return again next year!

Exactly as pictured and described. We had 24 people very comfortably stay at the house and didn't use many of the beds. I've rented a lot of vacation homes and this is easily one of the best stocked houses in terms of kitchen items, cleaning supplies, etc... pretty much everything you need is accounted for in every room.

Dahlia is a fabulous home. The decor is beautiful and the home is so well equipped. Immaculately clean. Incredible lower level for games and entertainment. The property is equally beautiful and the views from the house are magnificent. We have rented from Dwell many times and every experience is 5 star. They are great to work with.

My family had a wonderful stay at Dahlia. We were so relaxed and rejuvenated the entire stay. Anytime we needed assistance Penny was a quick text away - she provided simply stellar, very responsive customer service. The home was beautiful with all the amenities (pool, mini golf, basketball court, hot tubs, bocce ball, pool table, table tennis, etc.!) and everything we needed to prepare meals, play board games and enjoy our little getaway. We will be back!

Our family, with 21 members, has organized 11 reunions, held approximately every two years in the past 25 years in many parts of the country, but none can top Dahlia House for accommodations, inside and out. The location is private and secluded, the grounds immaculately kept. The interior is spacious, architecturally interesting, and well appointed. The covered, heated pool was occupied for most of the daylight hours. The grandkids, ages 8 to 23, frequented the pool, putting green and the basketball court. All three generations played bocce ball. We brought along CanJam and CornHole and played it on the expansive green. A large grill and dining area are adjacent to the pool. We enjoyed the fire pit, stocked with plenty of kindling, in the late evenings. Two main features of the inside topped other locations where we have stayed: the kitchen-dining area upstairs and the game room area downstairs. The spacious kitchen featured a large central island for food preparation cooktops, ovens, and sink. A side-kitchen, immediately adjacent, contained multiple huge refrigerators/freezers and dishwashers. Drawers and cabinets contained every imaginable cooking implement and tableware. Also deserving mention upstairs is the laundry room, with four washers and dryers and well-stocked with detergent. The large game room downstairs had pool and ping pong tables, a lounge area with TV, and side rooms with a home theater (plush seating) and a playroom for little ones. Staff is on call for any problems and very responsive. The Dahlia House website deserves praise for being well organized and highly informative, both about the onsite amenities and the multiple nearby attractions, including Lake Michigan. It is difficult to imagine a better place for a multigenerational family reunion.

From start to finish everything was spectacular. The house is beautiful and well-maintained inside and out. The theater was perfect for streaming football games and movies, the fire pit was gigantic and well-stocked with wood, the hot tubs were immaculate, and the pool was well-heated as promised even for mid-October it was warmer than most keep their pools heated to year-round! We will definitely be back and appreciate Penny and the Dwell team for a wonderful stay and their digital guidebook was immeasurably helpful for check in and check out as well as throughout our stay.

We stayed with multiple families with kids ranging from 4m to age 9. Every adult and child had a great time.

We host knitting retreats at Dahlia and love every second of it. The Dwell team is so accommodating and helps to make our retreats even that much more special. We've hosted 3 retreats with Dwell and have 5 more planned, and hope to make Dwell part of our business for years to come. Would highly recommend all of their beautiful spaces for any of your vacation needs!

Our Family just experienced the most wonderful weekend at the Dahlia Estate. The home and property are perfect for family get togethers. We arrived Friday evening and we’re just blown away by how well equipped and appointed the home is…each room is spacious and tastefully decorated. Our group consisted of my husband and me, five children with spouses and 15 grandchildren 11 years old and under, 27 total. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest had a wonderful time…thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us…we look forward to making more memories there in the future.

Beautiful property and perfect for large families.

Our growing extended family was thrilled with this property -- there was something for everyone -- from the pool and basketball court to the bean bags, ping pong and movie room -- we loved it, and hope to return.

Dahlia is a magnificent property! We had plenty of space to move around comfortably, and everyone felt they had more than enough privacy. The house was immaculate when we arrived and well stocked with essentials. The basement play area and movie theater were a huge hit with both our grandchildren (there were 8 under the age of 7) and our adult children. The playroom was well stocked with toys, books and activities for kids of all ages. We loved the spacious kitchen and prep area, and having 4 refrigerator/freezers made food and beverage storage quite manageable. The pool design was very safe and user friendly for the toddlers, as well as the sandbox and putting green. We have stayed at Dwell properties 5 times now, and each time it just keeps getting better and better. Penny is delightful to work with and extremely attentive to each guests individual needs. Thank you to Jorge, Meg, Penny and the rest of Dwell Property Staff for making our week so memorable. We will definitely return!!

Great place, well maintained, solid management team that cares.

We spent a long weekend at Dahlia for a mini family reunion and couldn’t have had a better time. The house is amazing- fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, plenty of fridge/freezer space, and a laundry room with about 6 washers and dryers…every mom’s dream lol. There was so much to do for every age- we thoroughly enjoyed the pool, hot tubs, fire pit, bocce, basketball, golf, and corn hole…everyone just rotated from one thing to the next and enjoyed the perfect weather. The pool table, ping pong, and card table were late night favs. The best part about this house was the memories made within it. It was so special to spend that time with my family and the next generations that hadn’t even met yet! We laughed endlessly and truly enjoyed spending some long overdue time together. It was a magical weekend for sure 🙂

The house is everything and more than we expected to be! The pictures don't do it justice. The place is perfect! The rooms are spacious and well furnished, the kitchen is big and perfect for a large gathering, and the outdoor area has something for everyone. Even though it was on the colder side when we were there, the kids enjoyed playing outside and so did the adults with the hot tub and fire pit. This place is worth ever dollar!

Dwell Vacations did it again with this property! It was the perfect balance of cozy, chic, and inspiring for us as we hosted a yoga retreat there. The design was on point and the layout was very thoughtful to host a large group of people. It was so clean upon our arrival and Dwell Vacations was accommodating and responsive to all of our questions!

Honestly, I don’t have enough time to share all of the incredible things about this property. We decided to have a couples retreat for our sales team at our company here. We had a total of 10 couples and 1 single person. It was absolutely phenomenal. First, the property is breathtaking. The scenery is gorgeous. Extremely private. Beautiful surroundings of nature everywhere. The home has so much space and the bedrooms are so nice. The beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in all the traveling I’ve done around the world. The communication and service provided by the owners was a great experience. They made this extremely easy. We decided we will be coming back at least once a year, but with the kids in the summertime to enjoy the backyard. If you’re considering this place, do it. Spend the money. You will not regret it. It’s absolutely incredible.

The Dahlia house is unbelievable!! We rented this house in December to get our entire family together to remember our Mother and share Christmas together. There were 36 of us ranging in age from 7 months to 62. The owners were so kind to put up a Christmas tree and make the house so festive for us. The house is even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures on the website show. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and well stocked with pots and pans and everything you need to serve your guests. The house is great for young children, it even has a children’s playroom and a theater room. We were blessed with a beautiful December day where we could enjoy the outdoor area which includes a large fire pit, hot tubs, play area for the kids and so much more. Because it was winter, we did not use the pool but there were plenty of other things to do. I cannot say enough about this beautiful place. It was the perfect place to get all of our family together. The rooms are so spacious. We all decided we will definitely want to come back again. Thank you so much to Dwell Vacations for for making all the arrangements so simple!! We were all so blessed by our time together in this amazing house!!

We had 20 girls gather for a bachelorette party and it was so nice for everyone to have their own space and be comfortable, and also have plenty of gathering space. We had a sit down dinner Friday which was perfect with the two large tables. Beyond happy with this property- I'll be back!

Had 14 adults and 17 children in this house and it was more than perfect. Staff was super attentive and there's a lot of activities around that could suit our large group.

Our extended family of 28 people gathered at the Dahlia house for a family reunion and memorial service for a family member in July 2021. We ranged in age from 3 months to 82 years old, with 16 adults and 12 children under 11 years of age. Everyone agreed the house was the ideal place for us. The guestbook/instruction manuals were well laid out and very helpful. We were able to arrive prepared and familiar with the spaces which was important since we were coming from 7 different states. The many bedrooms and bathrooms made it possible for individual families to have privacy and quiet spaces for older adults and babies. The kitchen had lots of eating spaces & worked well for our family dinners together. The Prep/caters' kitchen added extra storage space as well as the walk-in pantry. The multiple independent thermostats allowed each group to have control over their own bedroom temperatures. We appreciated the baby/kid provisions provided - cribs, high chairs, baby bath tubs, toys, little water table, and the toy room. Other items provided: soaps, shampoos, & basic supplies were plentiful and good quality. The outside space was wonderful. People were in the pool every day and the layout of the pool with the three different levels was FABULOUS and worked very well, providing safe sections for kids and all. We appreciated the pool towels and sand toys for the kids. We enjoyed making s'mores at the firepit area. The hot tub was a big hit with the adults. There are 2 hot tubs but unfortunately one was broken when we arrived. We notified Penny and someone came to fix it midweek. We also contacted Penny about another maintenance issue and someone came out to fix that as well. We really appreciated their responses to our concerns. Penny was very helpful and great to work with throughout our entire booking process and stay. The AV equipment was good, easy to use and good WiFi. However, cell service was poor for many of us. One of our members who is in IT said a "repeater would have been nice". We were grateful for all the washers/dyers with all our kids. We enjoyed the good central Michigan location, and visited a local winery, brewery, parks for the kids and the beach at St Joe's. The kids especially loved the hidden items - angels and fairies - that they discovered while on a scavenger hunt in the house. Overall the house had lots of wonderful areas, served our group very well and everyone loved it. We would highly recommend Dahlia.

We stayed 10 days in this spectacular vacation house. The house is well equipped with high end kitchen appliances, quality items from the beds, towels and furniture. In addition to being the most well equipped, it is meticulously clean and well maintained, it is artfully designed and decorated. But what made our stay so special, was the extraordinary customer service we received from Penny. She is a great host and we would love to come back. I highly recommend this house, it is by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in.

This is a beautiful property! The arrangement of the bedrooms in the home allow for privacy. The great room, basement, and outdoor space allow for a wonderful social experience.

My Family of 18 just spent 10 days at Dahlia and it was a wonderful experience. We have rented large homes for our group before and unanimously they all said this was the best ever! We had great plans for wineries, and shopping etc but the house is so complete there never was any reason to leave and so we didn't! There is a super store 10-15 minutes away in Benton Harbor that we traveled to 2-3 times but just to restock. As other have said Dahlia is the perfect respite for a large group and there is enough diversity there to accommodate any group. With 6 kids and Grand-kids and boyfriends and all that comes with all of that, for a Mom and Dad to be able to have everyone around them for that long a period of time was really special. I'd highly recommend it!! I posted some pics on Facebook and so many people have asked for the contact info because even from the pics you can tell the place is special. We'll be back!

We stayed at their Dahlia house location in Michigan, and it was like a dream come true. Wonderful pool, everything in the house was perfectly maintained and thought through so carefully. Our joke was... if you need it, this house has it. The pool set-up felt like we were at a resort. The house had a great firepit, and everything you could want on a vacation. Dwell vacations was so easy to work with, and on top of everything. We plan to rent again!

Stayed at the Daliah this weekend for a yoga retreat. I have to say that I absolutely loved everything about this home. The rooms, kitchens and other hidden treasures was more than I can expect. Let’s not forget about the comfortable beds and theater room.Looking forward to planning something soon for my sorority organization or just a women’s getaway.

Wow! All I can say is amazing! Nineteen (4 families) of us just returned from a long weekend stay and were extremely happy with the Dahlia house. The house is well stocked with all the amenities you could ever think of - dishes, towels, cooking ware, the list could keep going on. Meg and Jorge have thought of everything, making you feel like you are staying in your own home with the pool toys, kids play room/toys, and even all the firewood to build a fire on a beautiful Michigan summer night. You will not be disappointed in renting this spectacular home. Dwell vacations was wonderful to work with and we greatly appreciate everything they did for us!

Our family had a fantastic time at the Dahlia house in July. Dwell Vacations is a superb property management company to work with. We highly recommend them. Both Meg and Jorge are excellent communicators and extremely thorough with the entire process. Our large family gathering of 34 fit perfectly in Dahlia. We even had room for many more. The house is spectacular. Every amenity you could need. The house is very clean. The beds are very comfortable and there is something for everyone at this home. The kids and adults loved the pool, hot tubs, bocce ball and basketball. Indoor they played pool and ping pong and everyone loved the theater room. We were so fortunate to have terrific weather. Nearby is wine tasting, breweries and shopping. I would highly recommend this property to a large group. We hope to return with even more family members and create new memories in the near future.

This property is outstanding! First class all the way - from the fabulous beds, 3 huge refrigerators, 5 sets of washer and dryers, cribs, high chairs etc. Our family has grown to 17 adults and 11 kids under the age of nine & everyone had a fantastic time. The pool was ideal with two shallow levels and an automatic pool cover. The decor was lovely & so functional too! All the cookware, dishes and glasses were perfect. The playroom was great as was the movie theater. Meg is a wonderful hostess & thought of everything! Everyone wants to go back to the big blue house!

We had the best time staying here. The process of checking in was extremely smooth and easy. The house itself is amazing, I think I only saw about half of the rooms it's so big. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.

We used the Dahlia house through Dwell Vacation Rentals to host a yoga/wellness retreat and the space was better than we could have ever imagined. Meg and Jorge were so pleasant to work with and they went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. They were welcoming and just as excited to host us as we were excited to be there! The beds were amazing and comfortable, the kitchen was beyond perfect, and the space in the basement was perfect for us to practice yoga and have some down time!! Location was perfect and gave the attendee's of the retreat a lot of options for things to do during free time. If you're considering this house to host a large group of people as a family or for a retreat space, we would HIGHLY recommend it! We can't wait to host another retreat here!

Every year with our family and friends we do a little getaway for NYE and we were so excited to come across dwell vacations as all their properties are 5 star for an amazing price. The owners are wonderful, quick to respond before and during our stay...we even had a little welcome package waiting for us at the home with local goodies! This house (mansion!) is huge, it took us some time to figure out where every room was...everyone slept comfortably in the beautifully designed bedrooms....the playroom is amaaaazing, perfect for all ages!!! And that kitchen! We cooked so many amazing meals...never too many cooks in the kitchen as literally all 24+ of us could fit comfortably if we wanted to. Everything was perfect from start to finish...we recommend this home to anyone, especially those traveling with young kids! We plan to come back in the summer/warmer months to get to enjoy that amazing backyard and pool! Thank you for everything!

We had 20 person family for a Christmas weekend. This place is amazing... very clean and everything you expect. Great for families... there were plenty of things for the kids, cribs, high chairs, play room. The downstairs was great for the adult play room! The owners are so responsive and had great recommendations! We will certainly be returning, especially in the summer to make use of that pool! We hired a chef for the nice dinner, the kitchen is completely capable to feeding a ton of people, plenty of table space and plenty of utensils and dishes, and fridge space! No complaints here ... plenty of space for the 20 of us, no one felt like they were on top of each other. Thanks for the great stay Dahlia!!!!

We have rented beautiful houses from Jorge and Meg before so when Jorge said we were going to love Dahlia, we were, all 31 of us, very excited. Dahlia is beautiful, comfortable, and graciously decorated by the very talented Meg. There is plenty of space for everything and everybody, with pillows, throws and every comfort imaginable. The bedrooms are a generous size, the bathrooms are lovely, the dining area seated all of us and the downstairs playroom was fantastic. I was especially grateful for the “little kids” part which had tons of books and toys. We took full advantage of the firepit and the outdoor hot tubs. The house is sparkling clean and has all the equipment you could possibly need. We loved the luxurious beds and bedding. Plenty of parking made life easy. Jorge and Meg are the most delightful and accommodating hosts. We would definitely want to be at Dahlia for our next trip to Michigan.

We had 9 couples for a 40th birthday weekend and had the most amazing time. The house layout gave the option of privacy for those who wanted privacy and had great community areas. The chic bedrooms and private baths gave every guest the feeling of a master suite. The pool and jacuzzi area was spot on. The bonfire pit was amazing and perfectly designed for large groups. The smart sound system for the interior and exterior areas was an incredible bonus. The owners even included a scavenger hunt for added entertainment, the adults in our group had a blast with that and kids will enjoy tenfold! Dahlia looks like it can promise the world and exceeds expectations.

We had the pleasure of staying at Dahlia for our annual company retreat. We have struggled in the past to find a retreat that suited our needs. The overall atmosphere that Dahlia provides is unlike any other vacation rental we've used. The bedrooms have the most comfortable mattresses you will ever sleep on, the pool is beautiful, and the decor throughout is magazine worthy. As an added bonus, the hosts are incredibly gracious. Honestly we will continue booking every year from this point forward. I whole heartily recommend Dahlia as a company retreat or a family get-away. You will be missing out if you don't stay here.

With 11+ very private bedrooms and plenty of open space for groups, catering to our group was easy given the spacious and thoughtful open kitchen/great room layout. We couldn't have asked for more.
