Primose is great!
We had to change our fall break plans at the last minute due to the hurricane. Primrose was a perfect fit for our family and close to the lake! We would come back here for sure if we head north again! Thank you also to the host for being accommodating and helpful!
Family time
Our family of four generations and 22 members gathered at Primrose. The house was spectacular, very clean and well-appointed. The spacious kitchen and pantry areas made meal preparation and serving a breeze. Since there were many children in our group, we especially enjoyed the outside areas. The pool and hot tubs were in almost constant use and the fenced yard was spacious enough for volleyball and badminton. Our nightly campfires provided cozy family time. We also enjoyed time at the beach since it was an easy walk from the house. It was our fourth stay at a Dwell Vacations property and we look forward to many more.
Another fabulous stay
This is our third stay at the Primrose location and once again we had a fabulous time. This has been a great house for our family of 19 (10 adults and 9 children). Jorge has always been very responsive to any of our questions or needs. Our stay this year was further enhanced by improved air conditioning in the upper bedrooms. This was especially appreciated due to the warm weather that we had during our week. The house has everything that we need for our large family and hopefully we can arrange another wonderful stay at Primrose in the future..

Our visit to Primrose was filled with amazing experiences and fun times. The home offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space where people can all be together or choose to have fun in many of the separate areas of the home. The photos don’t do it justice! The kitchen is filled with everything needed to make big family meals. The beds are super comfortable. The outdoor space has something for everyone. We would love to visit again.
Amazing Property & Stay
My group and I (12 of us) had an incredible stay at Primrose. The house and property are even better in person than the pictures. The great room and outdoor fire place was where we spent most of our time and we had more than enough space for all of us to hang. The house was clean and well equipped with all the necessities. Would highly recommend a stay here!

Unbelievable Experience!
The info and photos online do not do this place justice. The quality and details of everything in the home were incredible. They provide everything you need to make travel very easy. I hosted a women's retreat with a private chef and the kitchen was a dream for her to work in and all of the additions like extra cozy blankets and unique books and games just gave it that extra touch. Communication with the host was consistent and easy. Will definitely be back!

Primrose is such a special place!! I've genuinely never stayed at a place that that is as stunning as this place. We hosted my husband's 30th birthday here and did a murder mystery party. This space is perfect for a gathering like this. It's open, modern, and beautiful. The hosts were amazing and followed up regularly to ensure the stay was going smoothly. I can't recommend Primrose (and Dwell Vacations) enough! My family, friends, and I are planning our next stay already!!!!

Lovely Family Getaway Destination
We hosted our mother’s 90th birthday weekend at the home, and it was spectacular. The property is as portrayed on VRBO just more impressive in person. The kitchen is exceptional for planning and preparing large meals. The outdoor area and home layout make it very conducive to everyone having the flexibility for everyone to have their own space to enjoy time. All around, a great place to stay!

Absolutely amazing!
This is our second time here and we absolutely love this property. It is located 3-4 min walking to Lake Michigan. The surroundings are just beautiful. It can easily accomodate large groups of friends and families without feeling crowded. Their pool and hot tubs were a big hit in our group. This house has everything you can think of. The game room in the basement was perfect for the small kids. Huge kitchen, fully equipped with everything you can think of, bedrooms are very nice, bathrooms are modern and very clean. We had a great experience and we are looking forward to return to this property.

This was our 2nd year with our family of 12 adults and 7 grandchildren, with twins on the way for next year. It is PERFECT!! Having 3 refrigerators, 2 freezers and 4 ovens, cupboard and pantry space galore, along with a full-sized table for everyone to sit together, cannot be found in any of the other vacation homes. It is an outstanding arrangement. With the pool just outside the kitchen/living area, coming in and out for drinks or snacks is ideal, along with outdoor games and fun pool equipment for the children and adults. The fire pit and adjoining fenced-in grassy area (on a lower level from the pool) is ideal for the dogs and children to play. (We do crate the dogs inside) The cement floors, in the living areas, are easy to wipe up or do a quick-over vacuum with the Dyson Stick! The downstairs entertainment areas are carpeted and well equipped for the cousins to play or watch TV together, not to mention the extra large capacity washer and dryer. The lay-out of the bedrooms & bathrooms is perfect for our family. We couldn’t find a better home to vacation. Only a short, enjoyable stroll, on a quiet road, to the loveliest of sandy beaches (with no erosion) and very nice people from the quaint neighborhood (because of no parking area for cars). - it’s all the locals who walk to the beach. Thank you to everyone on staff who attends to the cleanliness and maintenance of this exceptional home, and to Penny and Jorge for immediate responses to any issues. Primrose holds some of our greatest family memories and would be difficult, if not impossible, to find elsewhere on Lake Michigan. Plenty of parking space in the front.
Family Memories Made
We stayed at Primrose Place for a week with three generations of family. We laughed, swam, watched sunsets and created many new memories. The house is so conducive to multi generational families as there are plenty of bedrooms/baths and relaxation space enough for anyone who wants to get away for a while. The outdoor activities do not disappoint and it is a quick walk to the beach. We will be back!

We just completed a family vacation at Primrose. We stayed with our entire family consisting of 10 adults and 9 children age 6 and under. This house provided everything that we needed--plenty of space, plenty of beds, plenty of supplies, and an unbelievable kitchen and great room. The outside was just as outstanding as the inside with a great pool that seemed to be designed with the little ones in mind, plenty of green space, a great fire pit, plenty of seating available, and plenty of room for eating outside. The beach was wonderful and only a short walk from the house. We already have this house booked again for next summer!
Amazing Family Vacation
Our extended family visited Primrose for our annual vacation together and we were blown away by our entire experience. Check in was a breeze and house and all the amenities were perfect for our large family! The house is beautiful, walking distance to the beach and the pool was the highlight! Could not have asked for anything more and we will be back!
Immaculate and well-appointed property
The Union Pier house was absolutely stunning. Truly well-appointed with top of the line appliances, finishes, and furnishings. Tons of space for entire group with plenty for everyone to do (ping pong, pool, putting green, pool, sandbox(!!)). Pool was great. Hosts we very easy to get in touch with and we had no problems when we asked to adjust pool temp several times. Surroundings area is very cute with walkalbe coffee shops/small market. Beach easy walk and was great size with super soft sand. A+++

Fabulous house for a large group. Like new condition, clean as can be with beautiful well thought out appointments. Tons of nicely furnished space inside to just hang. The backyard is as wonderful as the house with lots of land for kids to play, a beautiful pool and two hot tubs, all in a wonderful setting. Excellent location-easy walk to the beach and to convenient shops. Dwell's staff is always a pleasure to deal with which is why we continue to rent from them. Super attentive. This house is hard to beat!

We couldn't have asked for a better location for a small intimate gathering of close friends and family. The Primrose has everything you need and more. The heated pool was my favorite feature. Swimming in October, yes please.
So perfect for our large family with small children!
11 adults and 7 young grandchildren have just experienced a week filled with the ultimate pool, hot tub, beach, meals and good sleep. The beds were great as well as the set up in each room. I prepared frozen meals for the whole week and the 3 refrigerators and 4 ovens were the best ever!!!!! Cement flooring was an easy cleanup with small children and the downstairs area provided perfect playtime for the children and families throughout the week. The Apple TV and seating arrangement upstairs allowed us to view pictures and share funny YouTube videos. Thunderstorms were amazing with upper windows in the great room - the clouds fly much faster than normal at the lake. The walk to the beach is 3 short blocks on very quiet, narrow roads and the steps are not far down. Absolutely no problem with the children running along - and they love the beach. Sunsets were so beautiful! Water was warm. We spent most days in the pool with its 3 tiered levels. The children played in the sandbox with lots of toys provided. We’ve already booked again for next summer and we are so appreciative of this property! Thank you for the opportunity to rent it and enjoy so many thoughtful amenities! Excellent!!

Enjoyed a wonderful week in Union Pier celebrating our mother’s 80th birthday. The house was ideally suited for hosting a family event. Amazing kitchen and eating area – multiple islands, sinks, ranges, refrigerators, etc. Plenty of room to prepare meals and stocked with everything you need. A dining area of multiple tables capable of seating all of us . . . and a nice relaxing area for tv watching and playing games.
Outdoor setting is even better! Large and safe swimming pool. Multiple hot tubs. Large open area for frisbee / bocce ball. And a nice firepit for family s’more time!
The house even accommodated our various needs for sleeping, working remotely, and leaving extra space for people to hangout. Good internet connection and parking for multiple cars in front of the house. Also, house is conveniently located for walking to beach and downtown union pier, and easy/convenient drive to nearby areas (New Buffalo, golf, breweries, etc.).
The staff at Dwell vacations were very responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We have zero hesitation to rent from them again and will hopefully do so soon!!
Excellent stay!
The house was perfect for our family. Each family (within the larger family) had their own space in the house but the common area was large and wonderful. The indoor/outdoor living experience is truly wonderful at this house. The pool and sandbox kept the kiddos busy for hours. The walk to the beach is not too bad, though with lugging a bunch of kids items, we would drive one car and the rest of the people would walk and that was no problem at all. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay again! Thank you to the owners and staff!

When I initially inquired about renting the Primrose property for a surprise birthday party for my wife, it was a Sunday morning. I did not anticipate the prompt response from the team at Dwell, and each step of the way, Penny and her team were incredibly professional, thoughtful, thorough, and so so friendly. Our stay at Primrose was "magical", and my family is looking forward to more vacations and celebrations in the home that truly has it all!
Great Getaway!
Primrose is a beautiful house set up for families and friends trying to enjoy time off together. Whether listening to music in the kitchen, playing in the yard, having a fire outside, or letting your kids play in their custom sandbox or play area, the layout of the property couldn't be better for fun and relaxation. The property was incredibly clean and well taken care of. It was a fantastic stay for all!

Many memories have been made - night swims in the pool, wine and puzzles on the expansive dining table, family dinners out on the patio, baseball in the side yard, reading and napping on the couch and cousin breakfasts on the barstools. The bedrooms are wonderfully appointed and provide a cozy escape. Whatever you desire, this house has it! Meg and Jorge are gracious hosts and a pleasure to work with. We'll be back next year!

Large and very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of eating space inside and out. Steps to the beach, a coffee shop and an ice cream place. Restaurants all around and very good local grocery store. This home was just perfect for our larger group! We had 23 people stay at this home, and the house was large enough and provided many different hang out spots for us all to visit comfortably.
The house is absolutely gorgeous, don't even get me started on the kitchen and the TWO pantries! Kitchen goals!
We visited in October and the view from the large family room was stunning, the colors of the trees were so beautiful!

40th wedding anniversary family vacation
We were impressed with the physical quality of the home, the small touches like plenty of paper products, soap toiletries, and welcome gift. The home easily accommodated 15 people while allowing for separation and family interaction. The great room facing the pool was a treat. Highly recommend the facility to others.
Unexpected fabulousness
Would never know from front of house, what is within. Beautiful suite rooms, gorgeous pool, hot tubs and firepit, outdoor kitchen and green property, most amazing kitchen and fun recreation room make the perfect vacation setting. Loved the beach and the around the corner coffee, ice cream shop, bakery and market as well. For a large group, you cannot find a better place.

Best Vacation House
This property is amazing! This was our 2nd visit and it didn’t disappoint. Dwell truly thought of everything. The outdoor area is just as wonderful as the inside. The pool and sandbox are fantastic for hours of entertainment, my daughter wouldn’t leave the sandbox. We spent several nights by the outdoor fireplace as well as the fire pit roasting marshmallows. The house comfortably fits several guests, from the bedrooms to the kitchen accommodations. Meg is amazing to work with as well and always happy to help with recommendations. Multigenerational family vacation
For the second year our family has spent an amazing week at Primrose house. We delighted in the amenities and the ability to have us all comfortably under one roof with plenty of space for an occasional “alone time” any adult or teenager may need! The backyard provided an excellent space for the sun worshipers or for the star gazer sitting by the fire pit. Access to the lake was ideal as the weather cooperated for great beach time. Working with Meg made check in and check out easy and smooth. The grand babies are already asking if we can return again next summer.

We rented the house for my mother in laws 60th birthday and we couldn’t have asked for a better home! Slept 17 more than comfortably, incredibly clean and so well thought out. Huge kitchens, multiple fridges and ovens, it was perfect! Highly recommend

Breathtaking!
Meg was an exceptional host, hands down the best I've ever had. We had our staff retreat at this property over the weekend and she went above and beyond the call of duty to support us in finding the best local caterers, places to visit etc. I could not have been more impressed with the property though. It was more than just beautiful it was set up to conduct meetings as we were able to project our powerpoint presentations on the large apple tv in the great room. In addition, this was a space for entertaining, there were games, a pool table, hot tubs, a fire pit and we utilized it all. We plan on returning to this in June for an end of year retreat. Overall, we are super grateful to have established a relationship with Meg and we will be using this space regularly.

Gorgeous details, perfect layout.
This house has a dream layout for groups. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spaced out in a thoughtful manner so as to amplify privacy while the great room and yard provide for the ultimate group setting. We hired a private chef and he was amazed at the superbly stocked and laid out kitchen. My only regret was that it was a blizzard so we weren’t able to use that immaculate backyard and pool (we put the hot tubs to good use, though). We will definitely be back!

Best House We’ve Found!
We stayed at Primrose for a weekend with 14 adults and 4 toddlers/babies and it was the perfect house! The owners have done such a great job creating a space that works for families (with plenty of bedrooms separate from the living space) and friends who want to spend time together (large living spaces). The amenities in this house are like nothing we've ever seen with any other rental properties. Plenty of refrigerator/freezer space, ovens and dishwashers to accommodate the large group and keep cooking and cleanup easy. The outdoor area also has tons of amenities and is the perfect set-up, even in November. They have truly thought of everything you could need when stocking this house, so you aren't scrambling to find anything or clean dishes in time. This house is really amazing, we would highly recommend and look forward to going back.

We stayed here for an October with my extended family (5 couples and 6 little kids) and it was perfect. We didn't have great weather so weren't able to enjoy the outdoors which was disappointing as it is one of the best we've seen at a vacation rental and we've been going to the area every fall for 10 years. The inside is amazing - lots of separation between room areas so each family can have their own space. Plenty of bathrooms, kitchen has storage for everyone's stuff and the little kids loved the basement. Highly recommended

Amazing Property for a large group
We stayed at the Primrose with a large group (21 adults) and were blown away by the property! Every detail was considered! The kitchen is perfect for entertaining and gathering and there are plenty of appliances to host a huge group. The bedrooms were comfy and there was a large pocket door that could be closed to help reduce any noise in the open areas, so guests in the bedrooms would not be disturbed by any late night gatherings. The basement and outdoor areas were also great for gathering. The pool, two hot tubs and large fire pits are perfect. Each and every one of us wants to come back! This trip was for a 40th Birthday Winery Weekend and Meg was a great resource for local places to visit, restaurants, shopping, you name it! Both Meg and Jorge went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. THANK YOU!!
